Dr. John Yaakov Guterson

Dr. John Yaakov Guterson grew up in Seattle, WA and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Washington with a B.A. in History. After teaching high school history and coaching basketball, he attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and then completed his Psychiatric Residency at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh, PA.

For Dr. Guterson, working as a psychiatrist has been a passion. He runs an inpatient psychiatric hospital and therefore is blessed to care for those who are battling with Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Severe Depression and Anxiety, Addictions, and Dementia. In addition, he has had an office practice since 1995. Dr. Guterson believes strongly that spiritual connectedness is an essential ingredient toward good mental health.

 

A sought after speaker and Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Guterson has inspired and delighted audiences for years with his humor, singing, and words of wisdom.
